I thought that my first iPhone application would be as hard as Object-C, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able with a little ActionScript to design a simple application. The process was a little confusing in the beginning but after watching the video on www.gotoandlearn.com I pieced it together. I am in the process of planning a paying application. Stay tune to this.
iPhone – Flash Development

With Apples relaxing of developers use of tools I thought it would be good for me to take a look at the market. In December the group will have an open discussion about developing iPhone applications using Adobe Flash. I am taking the dive developing my first application using this work flow, and will have some things to say at this meeting.
Apple’s move to stop Adobe from developing the Flash packager caused it to fall behind the 8 ball. It currently uses Air 2.0.1 not 2.5. I think because of the developers demands Adobe should have the packager updated soon. Like you I hope sooner then later. Apple makes great products and I look forward to using my skills as a Flash developer to take full advantage of this market.
